A trip to New England Bonsai Gardens

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon I took a trip to a company called New England Bonsai Gardens.

It is an amazing place and it was a wonderful experience for me.

At one point I was almost overwhelmed with joy because of all the amazing bonsai they have there. It is just terrific to see a resource like this place and less than an hours drive from where I live.

Let me tell you a little bit about it. Oh and I took a lot of pictures :) so I can show you too!

I spent two hours slowly walking around and looking at things. And isn't that the point of bonsai? No hurry?

Be sure to check out their website here

Here is the main gate. It is very humble. And I was almost stunned to see what is behind it. There are multiple greenhouses. Yes, multiple. Maybe around six or eight?. (I didn't count them). This isn't a small operation! They have Bonsai! And lots of them.

Lots of Bonsai Products, pots and more

And the first thing you come to is the store where you can buy just about every supply a bonsai enthusiast could want.

That whole distance, to the end of the runner, is all store! And more behind me from where I took the picture.

Bonsai Work Table

This in particular caught my eye. It is a bonsai work table with a rotating and locking surface. And it has a drawer for tools. Love this!

My point here is that you have a bonsai need they probably can fulfill it.

Let's Get to the Trees!

This is one of the greenhouses.

The first greenhouse

The second greenhouse

And they have large selections of indoor and outdoor bonsai. This is very important. And something you need to decide on if you are going to be purchasing a bonsai. Will it be an indoor or outdoor? And even from there what kind of environment will it be in? High humidity? High sunlight? etc..
