Miniature plants can be a challenge when it comes to diorama making. And buying miniature plants can be rather expensive. But you do have alternatives. Here is one inexpensive and easy alternative for your diorama making.

You can make a trip to the dollar store or the two dollar store and look for plastic plants they have. Of course the plants are going to be too big for a diorama but....

If you look at them carefully you will see that many of the plants are fabricated in a way that has smaller sub sections that are perfect for a diorama. You can pluck these smaller sections and leaf groups off the larger plant and use them in your diorama.
