War of the Worlds diorama by Joseph

Note: There has been an update on this diorama. You have got to see the pictures of how has changed and where it has been installed. War of the Worlds Redux

This is a fun little diorama made by Joseph. It depicts the War of the Worlds.

Here is what Joseph has to say about it:

The War of the Worlds diorama was made on a tan base using 21st century battle damaged buildings and lots of sand.I made the terrain pieces on the right, again using carved foam covered with latex paint, sand and scenic material. The river was blue cloth I had handy, but I plan to remake the diorama using a Pegasus river set. I also plan to add the Martian red weed biological plant using red aquarium plants.
The figures are generic British infantry, and the Martian Tripods are made of wood based on illustrations from various editions of the book, and are modeled to look like Martian technology as envisioned in the  late 1800's.
Thank you very much, Joseph
