In this part of the tutorial we assemble together the barrel and handle. And we add the bow to it all.

Connecting the Handle and Barrel

Let's connect the handle to the barrel of the crossbow.

Take the two wrapped pencils that you haven't used yet and place them side by side. And put some glue on the tabs of your handle assembly.

Now insert that tab right between the two pencils and squeeze it tight. It is right at the end there.

Now tape that joint really well. And put some tape on the butt of the handle too. You don't have to wait for the glue to dry at this point. But you definitely have to wait for it to dry before you start using this crossbow.

Let's continue assembling this crossbow by putting on the bow. Place the crossbow on a table like this and put some glue about 2 inches from the front end.

Now place the bow section right there.

And then use masking tape to secure that intersection together nicely.
