This is a fun and easy to make Game of Thrones project. And we use a neat product called Insta-Morph which is a hand moldable plastic. You heat it to 140 degrees in water and you can shape it with your hands. Good stuff. And inexpensive.

Materials and Tools:

• 1 Rake handle any length you desire, or you can use a broom handle or a wooden dowel about 1 inch in diameter
• 1 container of Insta-Morph moldable plastic (Insta-Morph on amazon)
• Macrame Cord - (50 yards) Here it is on amazon You can use parachute cord or simply paint your staff white
• Vine wrapped craft wire (This is the exact wire I use, on amazon)
• Hot Glue gun or some kind of adhesive

Insta-Morph

Let's Get Started by making the spear tip!

We are first going to make the spear tip. This is a very easy process. We are using a product called insta-morph. It is in pebble form. You simply drop it into water that has been heated to 140 Fahrenheit. Which is a tolerable temperature for handling.

After a couple of minutes the insta-morph has softened and will be workable. The beads will take on a clear appearance.

You can see how clear it is and how easy it is to shape. It is not as soft and workable as clay but it is similar. Go ahead and shape it.

And you can use tools. Here I am using a wooden dowel.

And remember that a great thing about insta-morph is that you can reheat it if you need to.

Don't like how the spear tip came out? Put it back in the water, heat it up and try it again. You can do this as many times as you want.

Ok, the spear tip is complete.
