How to make the Witch King Helmet

 

The Witch King Helmet is a great looking piece of gear and it is really quite easy to make. In this tutorial I show you how to make it step by step with just a few basic supplies like paper mache or plaster cloth . And I give you the template which makes it so much easier for you.

The completed Witch King Helmet

 

Materials and Supplies to make this project:

  • Paper mache or Plaster Cloth
  • The Template (Here)
  • Two or three cereal boxes
  • Some black cloth
  • Some Newspaper
  • Masking Tape
  • Sandpaper (optional)
  • Scissors or knife
  • Hot glue gun (preferred) or some kind of glue
  • Various Paints ( We use black, brown, silver, green and spray on bronze metallic)
  • A paint brush

 

Let's Begin

Print up the template and cut out the pieces. Tape together the three pieces that make up "A". And made two of the piece numbered 2.

Place those pieces on cereal box cardboard, trace them and cut them out of the cardboard.

Cut out the eyeholes

Don't forget to cut out the eyeholes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Crease like this

Glue the two part "2" pieces together and crease them down the middle like the dashed line shows.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Glue the parts together

Lay down the assembled part 1 the glue 2, 3 and 4 to it like this.

 

 

 

 

 

 


Wrap arouind head and glue it

Wrap part 1 around your head and measure it so you can glue it together like this. Be sure that you can still slip a couple of fingers in there with your head. You should have some extra room in there so it will later fit on your head.
