The Jumping Frog is a classic Origami Fold. And it is a little bit of a bonus fold in that it really jumps. This is one of class of origami called Action origami. This is a fun project because once the folding is done the fun has just begun.

You make the frog jump by pressing and popping the back like the picture shows.

You start out with a square of paper. Any type of paper will be good and just about any size. My paper for this tutorial is six inches square.

If you have paper that is plain on one side and colored on the other then start with the colored side down.
