And when we were in our thirties we spent time together. We were partners in a business, a bread store. I really enjoyed that business. I always had a deep connection with the simplicity and beauty of bread. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><em>( I have a very curious bread story that I will tell. You might find it interesting. But that is for another blog post. )<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And we, used to take our sons out every Saturday for father and son stuff, arcade, go-karts, movies etc. It was good times. <br>Ten years ago he took a managerial position at a company in a different state so he moved away. I haven&#8217;t been in touch with him in ten years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\"><strong>A Mystery Abounds<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Well, <strong>this past Friday<\/strong>, for some reason he popped into my head. I started thinking about him. And I paused, thinking to myself &#8220;Where did this thought of him come from?&#8221; I am pretty sure I haven&#8217;t thought about him in years. My second thought was &#8220;I wonder if he is okay? &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;I should call him, check in and see how things have been for him.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">But I didn&#8217;t. I have a new phone, not sure where exactly he is living, and so on.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">And I did an examination of my thoughts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Is this truly the first time I have thought about him in years? And is this a message?&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I  gave it some thought and I am pretty sure I hadn&#8217;t thought about him in years. This was the first time and for some reason he just popped into my head. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Come the next morning <strong>(Saturday)<\/strong> my son called me to tell me that my cousin had passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I was flabbergasted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Is it just a coincidence that I had just been thinking about him the day before?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Or is there something more to all of this?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">I believe there is something more to all of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">A mystery abounds. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Death of a cousin I have a cousin, he is my age.
