Marabella gets her Netherwing Mount

The netherwing mount is an interesting yet ardous accomplishment in the world of warcraft. It is definitely a goal worth achieving because it says something about your commitment to the game.

There are multiple quest lines that have to be completed and of course you need the 300 riding skill which cost 5,000 gold.

You can start a little bit of the quest line before you get the riding skill but the real quests for this mount don't begin until you have the skill. Then it is off to Netherwing ledge for dailies and other quests to build your reputation to exalted with the Netherwing. Once you make exalted the mount is free which is kind of nice. And you get to choose from 6 different mounts. But choose wisely because once you make the choice you can't change your mind or your mount.

The Netherwing egg, which can be found in and around the mine of Netherwing Ledge is a spawn that you pick up and turn in for reputation toward your mount. I wouldn't worry too much about finding these. They only give 275 rep and to go from revered to exalted you need 21,000 rep so just do your dailies every day. It took me about two weeks I believe from start to finish.

Marabella the Orc

One of the novel and peculiar things about the whole netherwing mount quest chain is that as part of the chain you will be turned into an Orc. While you are on the Netherwing Ledge. It's a disguise you have which enables you to interact with the orcs there and do the orc quests.

Even after you get the mount you will be turned into an orc when you go out to netherwing ledge. And you will do it a lot because there are some good daily quests out there.
