It’s a bit of a funny way to say it but reality did pivot on the signing of the Magna Carta.
The Magna Carta doesn’t explicitly say this but what it recognizes is that everyone has a soul. And in the eyes of God everyone is equal.
And we here on Earth need to establish a system of Government that recognizes this fact. No matter who you are, how poor, or how rich you are, you still are an equal to everyone else in the world.
This is right and good and it upsets the long held process in human relations that we call “Might makes right”.
It is also a profound teaching of Jesus Christ. Amazing how Christianity has had such a profound effect on the world in such a good way.
