The 2026 Stamp EXPO!

It is a worldwide stamp exposition and it comes to America once every ten years.

And this year, for eight days it was in Boston at the Menino Convention and exposition Center.

And I went to it! Let me show you some pictures. I will tell you about it and... I bought two stamps! Yay!

Here is the Boston Convention Center.

Here is a look inside. Those are the various booths that are selling a wide variety of stamp related materials including stamps, albums, all kinds of supplies and much more. There was even a whole bunch of inverted Jenny's at this expo> I have pictures! And I won't make you wait.

Look at that! Kelleher Auctions has five Jenny's on site.

They are in these black display cases - one Jenny per case.. Let's take a look.

They range in price from 355k to 650k!

And here are the two stamps I bought. They are a Scott #9 and a Scott #450. The total for me was $22.50.

They also have hundreds of display with stamps, postcards and all sorts of interesting mail related stuff from all over the world.

And located in different places they had these counters full of stamps! - Free stamps. And throughout the day I always saw lots of people having fun going through the stamps. It's a five million stamp giveaway!

They also had several setups with electronic microscopes and laptops so people could get a closer look at stamps.

Side note from Will: I was intrigued by this microscope so I spent some time using it. And I also wondered how much something like this cost so I went to amazon and discovered there are a whole lot of them that don't even need a laptop. They come with their own 4.3 inch LCD screen. And at low prices - as low as 28 dollars. You can check them out through this affilate link to Amazon: Stamp Magnifier digital microscopes

Of all the various booths and exhibits this one "Stamp Art" was the busiest. These are visitors looking through stamps for their topic and beauty. That says a lot about stamps. They have a very long history from The US and many other countries, for making beautiful stamps.

Okay! I had a great day at the EXPO. But if you are curious for more I have a story to tell you. It is about this stamp album I spotted on a table. It belonged to one of the volunteers at a booth. The Mysterious Old Stamp Album
