I spent a day at the World Stamp Exposition. It comes to America once every ten years and this year (2026) it came to Boston.You can see pictures and read all about it here: The 2026 World Stamp Expo in Boston.

But this article is about one little thing that I spotted on a table at the EXPO.

It's a stamp album and it really piqued my curiosity.

I talked to a couple of the volunteers working this series of tables and they told me that the owner of the album was on lunch break! Eventually I convinced somebody to let me take a closer look at it and get a couple of pictures of it. Notice that it has a brass clasp on the right. I should have gotten a better picture of that!

The Senf Brothers Published stamp albums in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I believe that this one is one of their most popular and I believe it was published in 1897.
