It's a wonderful little city and Route 66 passes right through it. It still retains some of the flavor of the route.

My intention was to settle down in Kingman for a year or two. But, I couldn't find a suitable apartment within my price range so I ended up going south in the state and finding a place in Phoenix.

Nonetheless I spent two weeks in Kingman getting my digital work done. I did a lot of writing and a lot of driving around. The red arrow in this picture shows the location of Kingman.

Here is a typical view from Kingman. It always astounds me to see such open landscape. We don't have a whole lot of open landscape in New England.

I almost got an apart in one of the trailers right behind this tourist stop. It was perfect for me and I loved it but... there was no internet access at all. SO that ruled it out. I wouldn't be able to get much work done.
