This is a tutorial on the easy way to make home made paper. I show you everything step by step and give you some tips on creative paper making.

This process is about recycling old or unwanted paper and reclaiming it as new and wonderful quality paper for arts and crafts.

I will show you a few different variations you can do with the paper and I also show you some things you can make with the paper including origami.

I also have a video that shows this process. It is at the bottom of the page.

Here is some paper being made. The wooden thing is the mold and deckle. You just need some wood and some common household screening to make it. You can also buy the mold and deckle quite cheaply. I have a couple of kits at the bottom of this page.

Making paper recipes and tips.

What you will need to make paper:

• A Blender
• A mold and Deckle ( I will show you how to make this)
• Some old paper to recycle. Can be junk mail, printer paper, brown bags, all types of paper
• Paper Towels and a sponge
• A big tray for holding water and reducing any mess

Quick Overview of the Process:

• Step 1: Tear up some paper and put it in a blender with a few cups of water. Blend it into a pulp.
• Step 2: Pour this pulp into the mold and even it out
• Step 3 Remove what is now a sheet of paper from the mold and preliminary dry it
• Step 4 Press the paper and finish dry it
