In this part of the tutorial we finish off the rebinding process by attaching the new cover to the book.

This tutorial shows you how to re-bind a hard cover book.

There are three parts to this Tutorial:

• Part 2 Removing the old binding

Put some clear plastic in between case and text block both sides and clamp tightly until dry.

Measure and cut endpapers folding it into two, smoothing with bone folder

Slip folded paper under the mull cloth and mark edge. 

Glue to paper (don't forget to glue top of tapes before pressing mull down. )

Glue other side to text block blank page (also called end paper) again smoothing down with bone folder.

Lastly, glue the other side to the casing, allowing even spacing around the end paper. 

NB when gluing these pieces slip some waste paper under the part to be glued.
