I recently took a bunch of closeup pictures of bees and some of them came out great. It is absolutely amazing what bees do and what they look like. I really didn't expect these kinds of results particularly because I didn't use a fancy camera. I just used an average digital camera with a macro setting.

This picture here is the absolute best one. I was opening up the hive with the hive tool and a bee landed on it. You can see her lapping up the honey on the hive tool.

The next picture is of the queen in the hive. You can see how she is attended by all the other bees. Quite amazing.
