In my trek around America I managed to take in two different Chihuly glass events. One was at the Biltmore in South Carolina and the other was at the Space Needle in Seattle Washington.

The Biltmore in South Carolina had an amazing Chihuly display that was in a lot of different locations on the grounds including outside the castle, inside the castle and in the various gardens.

This one is a major display just outside the castle itself.

The exhibition in Seattle had some similarities to the one in South Carolina - in that it was all very Chihuly. And there was some indoor installations and some outdoor installations.

But, an interesting thing about the indoor installation in Seattle is that a lot of it was in darkened rooms with very specific lighting. It was a nice effect. It almost was like being transported to another world.
