I love Spain. I spent several weeks there and I have writing and pictures about it including the Bull fights. More coming!

I was there in a rented house not two minutes from the beach. It was a work assignment for a company. I was working on and installed equipment for Ford Motor Company.

A short and interesting incident at the bull fights in Spain was the inspiration for parts of my novel "The Left-Handed Sword".

Update: I returned to Spain many years later. This time to walk The Way of Saint James. It is a 500 mile pilgrimage right across the entire country and it has been walked for 1400 years. I successfully completed that pilgrimage and you can read about it specifically here. It also inspired a book.

This is not your typical fantasy world.
There is no magic and there are no horses.
If you get into a fight and start muttering words and waving your arms around you are going to get an ax right in the face. And if you want to get somewhere you better start walking.
It's a dangerous world where nothing, and no one, can be trusted - including what you think you are seeing with your own two eyes.
It all starts when our "hero" lying in the mud on the bank of an unknown river opens one eye and has to make the decision to either give up or not to give up.
Adventure? No.
Ordeal? Yes.
There are only two ways a man can be stopped; by death or by his own giving up.
