I had to make two separate trips to the Basilica in St. Louis. The first time I visited it was closed to the public so I could only get outside pictures.

The second time I got in to see one of the most magnificent sights - The Mosaic work which is world famous.

Now for the Mosaics.

It is one of the largest mosaic collections in the world. It has 41.5 million
Glass Tesserae Pieces and covers 83,000 square feet.

It took nearly a century to create it all.
