When it comes to astronomy and astrophotography it is all about getting to a dark sky! And the All Arizona annual star party has a terrific dark sky.

The Milky Way can be seen almost all the way to the horizon. That's a great indicator of a dark sky.

This next photo shows a 30 second exposure of Taurus. During the exposure a meteor flashed across the sky and two airplanes were also in the view.
