Make Constellation Cups - Part 2: Get em even better!

1. Get the room as dark as you can get it. That makes a difference!

2. You can cover the sides of the cups with something to darken the glow the cup will give off. Wrap the cups with masking tape, electrical tape, or aluminum foil.

3. An easy way to dark the cups is to cut out the bottom of a cup to use as a sheath for your constellation cups.

Now you can use this bottomless cup as a sheath over any of your constellation cups. This will reduce the ambient glow from the cup.

Another thing you can do that makes a difference is to paint the bottoms of your consellation cups black before puncturing the star holes. This too helps a lot. Less ambient light will project onto the wall.
