I love Europe and have visited it multiple times. I lived in Germany for two years and last year I spent ten weeks backpacking across three countries.

And one of the beautiful things I love about Europe is the little bakeries and coffee shops.

Here in America the chain stores have taken over. There are lots of Dunkin Donuts, and every grocery store has a bakery within it's walls.

The beautiful little coffee shops, diners, and bakeries have all been pushed out of the American experience. But not 100% pushed out. There still are some beautiful little, privately owned bakeries around.

And Barcelo's in Fall River is one of them. It's a beautiful little Portuguese/Spanish style bakery and coffee shop.

That brightly lit glass case has a whole selection of European baked sweets, pastries, and goods. And on the wall behind it you can see various breads.

These two pictures show the bakery section of the business. There is seating at round tables here. And they have an additional large room with generous seating at tables; that's the coffee shop area. It is through that doorway in the background of the picture near the glass windows.
