The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi - Located in Santa fe New Mexico
This cathedral was built between 1869 and 1886. It is the site of previous churches dating back to 1626. Part of the cathedral standing dates back to 1717 - this is the La Conquistadora Chapel which includes the revered and famous wooden Madonna which was brought over from Spain in 1626. This cathedral is designed in the Romanesque Revival style.
