I few nights ago I had a dream about Tristin.

He was underwater and drowned. I just saw him floating there. I was underwater too.

I swam over to him and grabbed him, started pulling him toward the surface.

His eyes were open but glossy. I kept looking for signs of life. And just for a moment I thought maybe his eyes moved and he looked at me.

I continued to pull him toward the surface; then awoke weeping.

The thing about being a father is that you are there when your children need you -always. And if they are dying you have to save them . That is your job.

But sometimes it is beyond your power, your strength, your ability. You are helpless and you can 't save them.
