It is a Saturday morning in Spring and I felt really good. I was driving in the car with my to-do list. Got to get this done, got to get that done, stop at this store. etc. etc... I was stopped a red light, mentally checking off my list. What had I done and what still needed doing. A sparrow landed on my hood not a foot from the windshield. There I was at a red light. The sparrow had a bright yellow/green bud in it's beak. It tilted its head and looked right at me.

Before I could consider anything I nodded my head at it. "Yes, it is a good day to get things done." was my answer to it's statement. It stared me in the eye a few moments more in approval then flitted off on its tasks before the light changed.
