My sister took me shopping to buy me some clothes as a gift. I don't go clothes shopping very often. Don't think about it much. We passed by a rack with suits on it. "Do you have a suit?" she asked me. "Yes, I do have a suit but I don't think it fits me around the waist any more. And it's a good idea. I think that every man should have one good suit."

She paused at this. "How old is mom?" I replied "Seventy."

We both paused at this again. "Yes, every man should have at least one good suit. You never know when you might need it." was her somber response.

My sister called me at about eleven at night . "The doctor says that mom isn't doing well and we should probably go to the hospital."

I opened the closet and chose some clothes, ignoring the suit that had been on the far end of the rack.

She took her last breath a couple of hours later at the age of eighty and surrounded by her children.

Three days later I put that suit on.
