I had a dream last night that I was in an airport.

It was very confusing and I couldn't find my way to my gate. The doors wouldn't work properly and all the corridors went the wrong ways. I was starting to get frustrated in the throng of people and a thought hit me.

"What if this is a dream?" So I stopped in mid-step and looked around.

How do I know if this is a dream? Is the question I posed to myself. Hmm... I will look at a newspaper. That will give me a clue.

So I walked over to a table and picked up a newspaper and randomly opened it to a page. (I thought that if I chose a random page I would have a better chance of determining my answer. This was very scientific of me.)

At the top of the newspaper page was an article and a picture about a county fair where they were bowling donuts. The picture showed a group of people rolling donuts down a bowling alley.

hmmm... seemed to make perfect sense to me. This test didn't prove anything and I still couldn't tell if I was dreaming.

I woke up and realized how silly all that was - and I had to laugh at the bowling of donuts.

SO what's my point here?

My point is that maybe we are all in a dream and we are all just rolling donuts, which seems perfectly normal, but it isn't.

And maybe there is no way to know what is real and what is right until we wake up from the dream - then everything will make sense.
