I have learned a lot of things in my life. And for a long time I was excited about that. It all seemed important. But all of that has paled and faded

. It's just things; tid-bits, trivia, processes and well.. a whole lot of nonsense.

Ahh but there is this one thing .... and it found me around the age of 50.

It's the act of Kindness. True and deep kindness. It struck me as the special thing it is. And it really is above all the other things.

Now I am very proud to know that I have learned one real thing.

Be kind in your life. I have and will contemplate this every day from 50 to the last.
