So you have a good reason not to make a website? I got news for you. You don't. |
Reason 1: I don't have a good enough computer. Well I got news for you. You are just kidding yourself. If you are reading this you already have plenty of computer to build an excellent website. Let me explain. I built this whole website you are looking at on a four year old 500 Mhz AMD K-6 computer with 311 meg of RAM, a lousy 15" monitor, and a 56k modem. I'm not kidding. It took a lot of work and a lot of patience but this is what I have and this website is what I made. It isn't about the computer it's about you putting in the time and creating a website with content that people will be interested in. So stop making excuses and just do it. Reason 2: So you built a website and it looks lousy? I guess you just aren't very good at web design. I guess it's just not your thing. Well, again I got news for you. This website is halfway decent and it took me a lot of work to get it this way. But I wasn't born making websites. I had to work at it and learn along the way. My first few websites were pretty lousy and I can prove it. This website you are looking at now is version 6. I have saved screen shots of the previous 5 versions. If you want to see for yourself how lousy my first couple of websites were then just check them out. So you see, what it takes is effort. You have to keep at it. Don't make excuses. And when things don't come out good enough that is fantastic because you are growing towards the goal you want to achieve. Keep at it. Reasons 3,
4, and 5: You don't have the software, don't have the money to pay for
a domain name or server or don't know what to do.
