I have been working on a batch of bonsai trees that I started from seeds. This is a series of pictures showing the growth of some of them. The seeds were planted in July 2010. As of February 2012 they are 19 months old.

A couple of the seedlings having just sprouted. Tamarind and Chinese elm . Just recently germinated. Between 1 and 2 weeks after planting.

Here is a group of these bonsai at the two month time. The tamarind on the left have grown quite a bit.

Here are some Pictures at the One year mark. On the left is a Japanese Pagoda and on the right is a Tamarind. The pictures are deceiving though. The tamarind on the right is actuallly over a foot tall.

Here are three of the plants at nineteen months of age. They have all been transplanted into official bonsai dishes. The first two are japanese pagoda and the third is a tamarind. Amazing the size difference between the two japanese pagoda.
