When Starting Bonsai from Seedlings

This is just a little tip for when you are growing bonsai from seeds or from seedlings that you harvest outdoors.

You can cover them up with part of a plastic bottle. It acts as a little greenhouse that will keep the humidity and moisture levels a little bit elevated.

It works as a greenhouse and it will help your bonsai a lot.

Cut different sizes and lengths from all sizes of bottles. Fit it to the plants size.

Only use clear plastic bottles. Other colors don't work well.

Just cut it at a good spot. And most plastic bottles can be used both with the top and the bottom. So you have two bonsai plant covers.

Cut a 2 liter bottle

This next bonsai plant (Maple) has outgrown the plastic cover so it is time to transplant or get a bigger cover.
