Let's take a look and see how this kit and these seeds have been doing over the first three week period.

At two weeks three of the pots are sprouted. They are here. For the remaining three pots I am bagging them and putting them in the fridge.

First lets take a look at the dwarf mountain pine that were bagged. This is one week later (Sep14, 2015) and look at that. Four of the seeds have sprouted.

So, I took the bag off and I am treating them as regular seedlings in terms of water and sunlight. No need to put this pot into the refrigerator.

One of the open Red maple pots has sprouted a seedling. Very nice (This is Sep28) three weeks from planting.

And one of the bagged red maple pots has sprouted so I am going to remove the bag and treat it like a normal seedling in terms of sunlight and water.

At the three week mark, the three pots with no activity went into the refrigerator. I will monitor them for activity on a daily basis. The guidelines say to keep them in there for 4-6 weeks.
