Just one more thought and idea from me before you buy cardboard.
You can get lots of free cardboard just by going down to your local stores. Convenience stores are really good for this. Ask them if they have any boxes! They sure do. And will give plenty of them to you. And possibly save them for you!
Convenience stores get a lot of product shipped to them and a lot of it comes in boxes that ends up in the dumpster or recycling bin.
Anyway, this page is about buying cardboard so, let's take a look.
A company called Zonon sells a variety of cardboard sheets in 50 packs for very reasonable prices. You can get it on Amazon. They identify it as brown corrugated cardboard which is a perfect description.
These sheets are often used as a divider in shipping boxes or as a support in shipping bags and packs but we can use it superbly for crafting.

You can't buy the official amazon boxes. You know, the ones with the smile on them. Possibly you get them shipped to you on a regular basis so store them away! But, you can buy any imaginable size box from Amazon. Although because there are so many it can be a daunting task. Here is the main box page on Amazon.

Walmart --
If you want to get some cardboard sheets right away you should check the Walmart website and then do a check on the website to see if your local Walmart has it in stock. They do carry a fair amount of it. I did exactly this. They have cardboard sheets and cardboard boxes in various sizes.

Alternatively Walmart - I had previously mentioned walmart and they generally carry a decent selection of boxes in various sizes. So, it is worthwhile to go take a look.
Moving Companies like UHaul - I have done this a few times. Places like Uhaul make it their business to have lots of boxes on hand. You might want to run down to a local branch and take a look. They will have a larger selection than Walmart and they will have a wider variety. What I mean is that they will have various types like extra strength cardboard, doubled up cardboard or very very large boxes for wardrobes, mattresses, flat screen televisions and more.

The undisputed king of cardboard boxes is a company called Uline . I used to get their catalog. And wow, is is amazing what they offer in terms of cardboard boxes.
According to their website they ship over 5 million boxes a day. And they have over 1700 box sizes in stock! Wow. Cardboard crafter heaven.

Hobby Lobby - I did a check of their website and I couldn't find any corrugated boxes for sale. Hmmm...... Next time I go there I will do a search.
Michaels - I couldn't find any corrugated boxes on the Michaels website but... they do carry the Elmers tri-fold boards. These are corrugated sheets that fold in three panels. They are often used as science project display boards. And they are good cardboard and more than adequate for most of the projects I have on the website here. You can find them on the Michaels website by searching either "corrugated" or "trifold".
