In this part of the tutorial we finish making the sword by doing some detail work and painting it.

The hook of the sword has a nice separation from the blade. You can optionally add this separation by cutting on the line then removing some of the foam underneath the paper.

Then put some glue in there and press it down.

Use a pencil or blunt object to press it firmly until the glue takes hold.

Now let's paint the sword. If you want the marble statue look you should use white paint and a shade of paint that is off-white. For the off-white I used the color parchment. You don't have to use parchment color. You can make your own shade of white by adding a little bit of brown to white.

Paint everything white then use the parchment color to do some detail work on the edges and various cracks.

And we finish off the sword by adding some detail designs with a pencil.
