I spotted this beautiful fruit at my local grocery store. And when I say I spotted it I mean it wasn't hard to spot with it's beautiful orange color. It stands out among all the other fruits and vegetables.

Reading what is written about this fruit on it's wikipedia page it had quite a variety of flavor descriptions including banana/passionfruit, cucumber/zucchini and banana/cucumber/lime.
For me: It definitely has a cross flavor combining a cucumber and a banana. It doesn't taste like a passion fruit but.... it has a very similar texture to the passionfruit. The jelly-ness and theh abundance of seeds is a bit too much for me though. Not my favorite fruit but I am very happy that I gave it a try.
