Windows are a very nice detail for a dollhouse. They make it look better and they allow more light into the dollhouse. And, if you add lights to your dollhouse they will shine very nicely through the windows. I show you how to easily make plastic windows.

Decide which windows you want to cut out. If not all of them. And go ahead and cut them out.

Then cut them out to form the window frame. In this next picture you see two windows. On the left is a circular window and on right is a larger bay window.

Then measure and cut out the window panes. I use the thin plastic that a lot of food comes in. This one is the lid of a tub of macaroni salad. Yummie. The label is easily removed with acetone or nail polish remover.

Then glue it onto the back side of the window frame.

And hot glue it into place.

I even did a little window in the door.

Okay, the windows are done.
