This is a tutorial on how to make the Daedric Axe from Skyrim. And I have the template for you which makes it real easy to make. You just need some cardboard or foamboard and some kind of a stick handle.

Can you make this daedric axe? You sure can! Here is one made by Yanael. He has also made lots more of my projects!

Print out the template (here) and tape together the pieces. You end up with a big axe piece, a blade piece and a small piece. Lay them out on your cardboard or foamboard and trace them. Make two of the blade and two of the little piece. For the big axe piece you only need one.

Cut out the pieces. You should have five.

Now lets put the handle on it. Put your handle like this and mark around it. Then cut out that piece.

Then glue it on nicely.

Next glue on the two layers shown by the blue arrows.

There are just a few things remaining with this. We add some stuff to the handle and we paint it!

Cut two strips of foamboard and wrap them around the handle in these two spots. See that one is just under the axe blade and the other is a bit further down.

Now attach the pommel to the end of the handle. And as before cut a strip of foamboard and wrap it around the handle like you see here.

You probably noticed all the rivets and bolts on the axe. You make these with dabs of hot glue.

Ok, let's take a look at the painting scheme. First I painted the whole thing black with spray paint. Then I just lightly highlighted it with a little silver spray paint. Finally I brushd on some red accents. Don't forget the pommel! Congratulation! Your Daedric Axe is done. Send me a picture!!
