Materials Needed:
- Some type of foam or foamular, enough to make a block twelve inches long and 6 x6 inches square
- Hot glue and glue gun
- Black Paint and silver paint
- A wooden dowel or broomstick 36 inches long, mine is 1 1/4 thick
- Some black vinyl or cloth to wrap the handle
- A lot of twine or string to wrap the handle

Make yourself a block of foam that is 12 inches long and six by six inches square. So, it is 12 x 6 x 6 inches.
I cut three pieces of foam 12 x 6 and the foam is 2 inches thick so that gives me my block.
How thick your foam is doesn't much matter just cut and glue it so you end up with 12 x 6 x 6.
Simply glue your stack together to make your block of foam. If you are using anything other than plain old white glue you should test your glue on the foam. Some types of glue will melt the foam.
Lets start carving this block of foam so it looks like the warhammer. Take template one and place it on the block of foam. Mark off the four surfaces you see as red lines. Do this process on the foam block on all four sides. In other words, rotate the block, put the template on it and mark those four lines again, on all four surfaces.
Now go ahead and make all those cuts you just marked. There are eight total cuts that you make. Any variety of tools will work such as as hot wire foam cutter, hacksaw blade or even a serrated knife. The tool you use will partially depend on the type of foam you use.
