This is a fun foamboard project that really works. And you don't need a whole lot of materials for this. I give you the template that has all the parts. You print up the template, and use it to easily make your parts. Then glue it together. I also have a video tutorial on this project at the bottom of this page. Thanks for coming over from youtube! Give me a day to finish this tutorial but I do have the template ready right here:

Note from Will: The Template and the tutorial are both absolutely free! But would you consider a donation of $1 to support my work? Paypal makes it very easy and safe. Click here to donate $1 - Every little bit helps Will to keep making great tutorials and templates. Thanks!
I also have a tutorial on how to make an Assassin's Creed Hidden Blade that works! This is a fun project that just uses cardboard or foam board with a rubber band. It really works quite nicely. Make an Assassin's Creed Hidden Blade
Let's Get Started!Print up the template. There are two pages of parts that we will need.
Apply an even coat of glue stick to the backs of these two pages.
Stick them neatly down to your foam board.
Cut out the pieces. Take your time and do a nice job. It will make a difference in the assembly.
Will's Tip on Cutting Foam board: Don't try to cut all the way through it in one swipe. Use a really sharp blade and make three passes. the first pass just cuts the top layer of paper. Second pass cuts the foam and the third pass cuts through the bottom layer of foam.
Let's start the assembly. Lay piece 1 down and glue pieces 2, and 3 to it as shown.
Then glue piece 4 right on top of 2 and 3 just like this. Notice how the holes line up. The arrows show the holes lined up.
Ok, now make the carriage assembly. This is what rides in the slot and propels the projectile. It is 5,6,7,8 and 9. Before you add piece 9 you should test this thing for fit. To see how it will ride in the slot.
That carriage assembly should slide easily and smoothly in the slot of part 1. So test it before you glue it. Then test it after you glue it. Quickly wipe away any excess hot glue. Globs of glue can cause it to stick and not slide smoothly.
Ok, let's continue with this assembly
The Video Tutorial:
Ubisoft Assassin's Creed Unity Phantom Blade Now you can wield the Assassin's legendary Phantom Blade; a must-have collectible accessory for fans of the Assassin's Creed franchise. This life-size replica of Arno's signature weapon features a functional hidden blade, retractable crossbow arms, and soft firing dart as seen in Assassin's Creed Unity. The intricately sculpted plastic blade and crossbow attach to the bottom of the forearm, while the adjustable straps and highly detailed simulated-leather gauntlet attach to the top of the forearm with a strap and buckle. Display this as part of your collection, or wear it to complete the ultimate Assassin look.
Make the Assassin's Creed Tomahawk This a great project based off of the new Assassin's Creed. Here I show you how to make the Tomahawk wielded by the main character Connor out of a broom handle and some foam board. Make the Assassin's Creed Tomahawk
