In this part of the tutorial I show you how to make the paper jewel for the pommel.

We make this paper jewel in this part of the tutorial. I give you the pattern in the template.

You have a few different ways you can make this jewel. The thing about it is that regular paper is kind of thin and doesn't form a sturdy jewel so we want to get this onto something stronger.

You can put card stock in your printer and print this page of the template right onto that and you are good. Then you can cut it out and fold it into shape then paint it as you desire.

Or, you can glue stick the pattern to cereal box cardboard then cut it out, fold that up and paint it.

Or you can trace onto your card stock using tracing paper.

You fold it up by creasing on the lines and applying glue to the little tabs.

Almost done.

Go ahead and glue it right into the pommel and you are done!

That's it! Your sword is done!
