- What is Origami? It is the art of folding paper into three dimensional shapes.
- How did origami start? It is believed that it began in the 6th century by Japanese Monks.
- What does the word Origami Mean? It is japanese and two words. "Ori" means folding and "Kami" means paper.
- Is all Paper folding Origami? Technically you could say that however you are folding paper you are doing origami but... Traditional origami has a couple of rules, you have to start with a square of paper and you cannot cut the paper at all. You can only fold it.
