In this part of the tutorial we finish off the sword by painting it.

This is optional. Because the sword is a layering of pieces there are separation lines between pieces. If you want to cover up those lines you can put wood putty in them. Once it dries you can smooth it out with sand paper.

If you are going to use spray paint you should mask off the other parts with masking tape because the spray paint will splatter and hit those parts too.

Paint the blade silver. If you don't have silver a light gray is ok too.

Paint the pommel and the tips of the guard gold.

Paint the rest of the guard dark gray.

Finally, paint the handle brown. And you can do diagonal strokes so it looks like it is leather wrapped.

That's It! Your game of thrones sword is done!
