About the cardboard telescope:

Here is a picture of me as a teenager with the very first telescope I made.

That was a long time ago. Many years have gone by and I have since then dreamed of having a really good telescope. A schmidt-cassegrain telescope that is al least eight inches in objective mirror.

All these years I have not yet been able to get one. So I made this cardboard one as a daily reminder. It sits on top of my clothes bureau and I have to look at it every day.

I am so passionate about astronomy and telescopes that I have even written a book about it. That book is available on amazon right here. And I am working on a second telescope/astronomy book.
