Will's favorite x-acto knife for working with cardboard. This knife has a very comfortable handle which is important if you have a lot of cutting to do. And the blade locks and unlocks from the opposite end. You tighten and loosen the end. This is a great safety feature. It reduces the chance of getting cut when changing the blade.

I have one of these canary knives. It works really well. Serrated on one side. It is a safe knife for cutting cardboard and it is very effective. They make a few different sizes that come in different colors. I really like this orange one. It comes with the sheath. I don't think the others come with a sheath. Check on that if you buy one.

Boxmaker Scoring Tool

You can make custom sized boxes with this tool. You use it to score cardboard where you want a fold. It creates perforations that are foldable. Available on Amazon here

Cardboard Scissors

I haven't tried these specifically but they look terrific. And they have a whole lot of excellent reviews on amazon. I think they are probably a good purchase. My guess is based on a few things including the soft handle, the serrated blade and the offset of the blade to handle which is important for leverage. I have cut a whole lot of cardboard!
