Cheese and crackers can be a bit of a pleasant little experience. Part of the experience can also be set with the environment around us. This can be a formal dining setting, a nice musical background, or some beautiful scenery. In this case the backdrop for my cheese and crackers was the island of Bermuda. |
I took a 7 day cruise to Bermuda. It departed out of Boston. The cruise experience was terrific and the island of Bermuda is wonderful. While I was there I had several different cheese experiences! On the cruise ship buffet they laid out various cheese options every evening. That was great and you can read about it and see pictures here: But on this page here I talk about how I stopped in a little local Bermuda grocery store and I spotted a cheese. So I bought it along with some crackers and sat down at a bench and enjoyed it. Here is the view of Bermuda I enjoyed while having my cheese and crackers. Here is the little cheese and crackers spread I made for myself. Waitrose is the name of the company and this is a blue cheese called "Cambozola". It's a wonderful cheese. I was very pleasantly surprised by it. The "Blue" aspect of this cheese is mild and not overwhelming. And the cheese itself has an excellent creamy texture and taste. Nice cheese! I paid a little over nine dollars for it. The crackers I had with this cheese are called Breton Original crackers. This is a product of Canada. And they were excellent too.
