How to easily add sound or music to your projects

This little device makes it extremely easy to add sound or music to your project.

No electronics knowledge is needed.

Here is the little device I use to add sound or music to a project. I really like this one for a few different reasons. It is cheap and it is totally self contained and ready to go, even comes with batteries already installed.

It's very simple. You record something with it. It even has a microphone right on the circuit board. So you can record something with your voice or by playing music or sound effects. But it also has the ability to record from a microphone, PC, or cellphone. So you have options.

It saves it all to memory. Then when you press the little button there at the end of the black/red wires it will play what you recorded on the speaker right there.

If you want the play button to be at any distance from the actual circuit board or speaker you just cut the wires and splice in lengths of wire. Same thing with the speaker. So, you can have the speaker, circuit board, and push button in different locations. However you want them for your project.

This exact one, that I bought is here on Amazon (affiliate link)

Let me show you it on my world's greatest cardboard castle project. I wanted to have baroque or organ type music playing from inside the cathedral.

Here is the front of the cathedral.

I mounted the circuit board/speaker on the back of the cathedral.

I cut a hole in the cardboard under the speaker so the sound would project into the cathedral.

I cut the red and black wires for the push button and ran a length along my project to bring that push button over to the control box. The castle has a wide variety of electronic and electrical functions. That's why I use a project box as a command and control center. Now from right here you press the button and the music plays in the cathedral.

Want to hear it in action? It's in my youtube video for the cardboard castle right here:
