A Guava is a common tropical fruit that grows in many tropical and sub-tropical regions including Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and northern South America.

They are also cultivated in Greece and Spain.

The largerst producers nnd exporters of guava are India, Indonesia, China, Mexico, Pakistan and Brazil.

Will's Review: it is about the size of an apple. And I was a bit suprised by the mesh covering it comes in. Maybe when it ripens that skin gets very soft and is easily bruised.

Taste: The guave has a mild tropical taste, not strong. And it has the consistency of a soft pear. You can detect the seeds but they are not overwhelming.

I paid $3.99 for this guava in my local grocery store.
