I spotted these in my local supermarket and just had to give them a try. I wasn't expecting them to be any different than regular sized bananas. And It was true. They are exactly the same, in flavor, as regular bananas. But hey, they are a bit different, and being a backpacker, I could see how they are much easier to carry around in my backpack.

And they make for a smaller and more conveniient snack.

A common name for these bananas is "baby" bananas.
