Make a Medieval Drawing and art Box - Part 4

In this part of the tutorial we finish making the box.

The optional wooden cover

 

This is optional. Glue right onto that top piece a sheet of thin sanded plywood.

 

 

 

 

 

Add teh cover

Leave a space all the way around it of at least one foamboard thickness. This way you can flip this unit over and it will sit correctly into the box. When we flip it over we don't want the wood to rest on the shelf edge.

 

 

 

 

 

Decorate the cover

Now the only thing remaining is to finish the box by decorating the top of it. You can paint it, you can draw on it or you can even print something up and glue that on.

 

 

 

 

And that's it! Your Medieval Art box is complete! Remember to send me a picture!
