In this part of the tutorial we continue making the sword.

Tip: To cut the blade nice and straight use a straight edge with your knife.

Ok, the cut out sword looks good.

Now do the same process with piece number four. And make two of these out of foam board. This piece looks like piece #1 but it is different.

Here are the two I made.

Now glue them onto the sword, one on top and one on the bottom side. It is easy to match them up. There are just a few small differences like the shape of the trigger guards.

When you glue three layers of foam board together there is going to be some mismatching and overlapping around the edges. Clean them up with a sharp knife to make everything smooth.

And then sand the edges smooth. This is optional. If you don't have any sandpaper that is ok. Just do a nice job with the knife and trimming the edges.

The sword is pretty much done. We just have to add the details and paint it (continue)
